This camp is for the athlete I used to be and is built for what I needed at that age. It is athlete focused and built for you!

The camp is $275 you will receive top level coaching, insight into the rugby community and new friends, a t-shirt, rugby shorts and more!

Yes, we will manage your day 1 as it is mostly skill based. You'll be able to manage the camp and still get tonnes out of it! If you’d like to attend Day 3-5 of the camp please reach out as we would love to have you for a short time!

introducing your coaches
Krissy Scurfield - founder of scurfield rugby lab
Krissy, born and raised in Canmore, Alberta, grew up playing hockey and doing gymnastics. At 15, she discovered rugby and quickly fell in love with the sport, setting her on the path to becoming a professional athlete. She went on to compete in the 2024 Olympics, earning a silver medal, and has proudly represented Canada in XVs through multiple international test matches. Krissy is passionate about using her experience on the field and in the gym to inspire the next generation to pursue their dreams with determination and confidence.
Carissa Norsten - coach
Carissa, born in Waldheim, Saskatchewan where she found rugby in her teen years. She has gone on to represent Canada at the PanAm Games, earning a silver medal, before being selected to the World Series where she was named World Rugby Rookie of the Year in the 2023-2024 Season. Off the back of that season Carissa was selected to the Olympics earning a silver medal for Canada. Since then she has also represented Canada in XVs where she will no doubt have a bright future once she recovers from a knee injury.
fancy bermudez - coach
Fancy, grew up in Edmonton Alberta where her love and passion for the sport began. At the age of 16 she pursued her dream and moved to Victoria to attend the Rugby Canada Development Academy. She has since achieved remarkable success, winning silver medals at both the 2025 Women’s World Cup and the 2024 Olympic Games. Now competing as a professional rugby player in the PWR with Loughborough Lightning, Fancy continues to push her limits and grow her impact within the sport. Passionate about giving back, she aims to use her experiences from high-performance sport to inspire the next generation of athletes to chase their goals, embrace challenges, and believe in their potential.
